Got JESUS?

Friend, the most important decision that you will every make is your choice to accept Jesus as your Savior and Lord. Look at the following facts. Make sure you are right with God and ready for heaven.

FACT #1) You must realize that if you are apart from Jesus, you are separated from God and lost. If you do not have the life of Jesus, the Messiah, dwelling in your heart you are headed for a place of torment called Hell.

Romans 3:10 says, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" Our own righteousness is not acceptable to God!

In Romans 6:23 it says, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Spiritual death is separation from God. If your physical body were to die while you are in this lost condition, your spirit, the eternal part of your being, would forever be separated from God and you would automatically go to Hell.

FACT #2) There are not many ways to God! Jesus, the Son of the Living God, declared there is only ONE WAY to God.

In John 14:6, " Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." "For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.", Luke 19:10.

The great prophet of God, John the Babtist, said of Jesus in St. John 1:29: "....Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world."

When you come to God, you will come through Jesus, His Son. There is no other way!

FACT #3) God loves you! He has paid for your salvation in full!

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16

FACT #4) Good works or religious acts cannot save you or make you right with God!

"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life." Titus 3:5-7

FACT #5) Jesus took upon Himself all your sin and unrighteousness on the cross.

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, ...God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; ...For he (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." 2 Corinthians 5:17-19, 21.

FACT #6) Jesus was raised from the dead so you could have eternal life. He became the bridge that brings God and man together.

"Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 3:10, 12

FACT #7) You can receive Jesus and all that He did for you today! It is a free gift from God.

"But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach: because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ...Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10: 8-10, 13

Pray the following prayer with me. Pray sincerely from your heart and, if possible, speak the words out loud so you can hear yourself.

Say:
"Father God, I am coming to you today because I am not certain, in my heart, that I am ready for heaven. I know that I need you in my life! I believe that you sent Jesus to the cross to pay for my sin. I believe that you raised Jesus from the dead as the scriptures report. I accept Jesus, right now, as my Savior. I turn my back on my old life, and receive the free gift of your life now! I declare today that Jesus is now my Lord!"

"Thank you, Father God, for saving me and giving me eternal life!"
